Cookie Policy

Version 2026-08-15

Practicepicnic (“Practicepicnic”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) operates the practicepicnic.com website and the app.practicepicnic.com application.

This policy explains how we use cookies and similar technologies, and the choices you have.

What are Cookies?

Cookies are small files stored on your device (computer or mobile device) when you visit a website. They may include an anonymous unique identifier. Cookies are sent to your browser by a website and stored on your device. You can instruct your browser to refuse all cookies or to notify you when a cookie is being sent, though refusing cookies may prevent parts of the Service from working.

The important distinction: our marketing site and our application

On our public marketing website (practicepicnic.com) we use analytics and advertising cookies to understand how visitors find and use the site.

Inside the Practice application (app.practicepicnic.com) we do not use analytics, advertising, or tracking cookies of any kind. The application uses only strictly necessary first-party cookies required for authentication and security. We do not track your activity within the application and we do not send information about your use of the application to advertising or analytics providers.

These are first-party cookies set by us. They are essential to operating the application securely and cannot be disabled while using the Service.

Third-party resources inside the application

To deliver specific features, the application loads resources from service providers, including our payment processor (Stripe) and our telehealth video provider. These providers receive technical connection data necessary to deliver the feature, such as IP address and browser information. They do not receive information about your browsing activity within the application, and they do not set advertising or analytics cookies on our behalf.

Your choices

Browser controls. Most browsers let you block or delete cookies through their settings. Blocking strictly necessary cookies will prevent you from signing in.

Opt out of Google Analytics. Install Google’s opt-out browser add-on, available from Google, to prevent Google Analytics from collecting data about your visits to any site.

Opt out of personalized advertising. Manage ad personalization in your Google account settings, or use the industry opt-out tools at optout.aboutads.info and youradchoices.com.

Do Not Track. We do not respond to Do Not Track browser signals, as no common standard for them exists.

Because the application uses only strictly necessary cookies, no opt-out is needed there.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy and will post the new version here with an updated version identifier. Prior versions are available on request.
