Requesting signatures
Supervisors can configure their settings to either require all supervisee documentation to be co-signed by them or not.
If they don't require co-signatures, a document will be considred finalized as soon as the supervisee signs it.
If they require co-signatures, a document that the supervisee signs will automatically be sent to their supervisor for signatures. Only once the supervisor signs off on it will the document be considered finalized.
When a document has only been signed by a supervisee and is pending the signature of the supervisor, it will be marked as Supervisee Signed.
And inside the document, only the supervisee's signature will show. Once the supervisor signs it as well, their signature will show alongside the supervisee's.
Supervisor feedback
When a document has been signed by a supervisee, and the supervisor has required co-signatures, a notification will appear on the top right of the supervisor's account, letting them know.
From the Supervision page, click Edit next to the Document from the supervisee to either sign off on it or request edits.
Click Request Edits to send the document back to the supervisee for edits. Requesting edits will unlock the note for the supervisee.
While requesting edits, you'll be able to add comments on the note for the supervisee.
On the supervisee's end, they will get a notification if edits were requested. Your comments will also be displayed at the bottom of the note.
If the note looks good, Sign it at the bottom and then click Save to finalize your changes. Your signature will then appear next to the supervisee's on the document.
